Susan Sablone

On Sundays…

you will find me leading worship at a local church. I love to sing. I love God but I would never describe myself as an extrovert. I am happy to call myself a full-blown introvert!

In fact, growing up, I was incredibly shy, withdrawn, and felt like I had a difficult time fitting in. Moving 20 times by the time I was 18 certainly didn’t encourage feelings of acceptance by my peers. In addition, being raised in a turbulent home just added to my outlook of being ostracized and not belonging.

Nevertheless, through my own experiences and growth, I have learned the power of genuine connection and being in healthy relationships. My desire is to teach my client’s the same power of healthy connection.

Feeling like you don’t fit in…

or disconnected can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, a sense of not being good enough, and not belonging.

Knowing all too well these feelings, I desire to offer people a safe place to land and share their thoughts and feelings in a loving and caring environment.

This is one reason why I opened a day care facility prior to becoming a counselor. I wanted to provide children and their parents a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. It has always been important to show people that they are loved, cared for, safe, and belong. You are no different.

Your story matters…

and I would love to collaborate with you on your journey towards health. I want to hear your story and help you to identify your communication style and discover your strengths and weaknesses as we gain insight into who you really are and desire to be.

Together we will examine your individual patterns, relationship patterns, and how to get unstuck in certain areas of your life.

Life is hard, but we were not meant to go through it alone. We were made for relationships and I want to teach you how to create a healthy sense of self, so you can have healthy relationships in your life.

Today, I live life with my husband of 24 years and my 4 beautiful children. I LOVE Taco Tuesdays and enjoy the simple things in life like walking with my friends. I want you to learn to love life and enjoy the simple things as well.

I want you to know that you are not alone, and I would love to hear your story. Tears and feelings are welcomed. I am here to listen.
