Amy Meinig

From a young age, I knew I was called to help and serve others.

It began with the day that my mother provided a meal to someone in need. Little did she know how impactful that moment was on the course of my life. It influenced how I treat others, my view of the world, and the contribution I want to make during my existence on this earth. I believe that each soul has value, is beautifully unique, and that we are all deserving of love, care, and respect.

Life and Love are full of inevitable challenges

Taking the step to attend counseling will provide you with the needed space and time to explore, understand, and lean into those challenges that inevitably come your way. As a collaborative counselor, I partner with you, challenge you, and support you in gaining self-awareness, new perspectives, and pathways forward in your life. You will be welcomed into a space where you are heard, understood, respected, and accepted unconditionally.

If you find yourself in a relationship where you feel hurt, lonely, distant, or disappointed, you may be at a loss as to where to go from there. When a couple comes together, they envision a life of love and connection, not an existence of turmoil, misunderstanding, and detachment. It can be incredibly painful to navigate the inevitable hardships that loving bonds bring.

I have been with my spouse for a total of over 23 years (and still counting!), so I understand the challenges that many couples go through. I also understand that feeling loved, connected, and close to your partner is very possible.

With intentional effort, the right tools, and caring guidance, it is possible to have a meaningful and fulfilling relationship. As an inclusive counselor, I welcome all individuals and all types of relationships into a safe, respectful, and accepting space with full respect for your background, beliefs, relationships and culture.
